Twelve months you can see at once

The year calendar puts all twelve months as mini grids on a single page. It answers a different question from a monthly sheet: not "what am I doing on Tuesday" but "how many weeks until that", "which month has the long weekend" and "when does the term actually end". It is the page to pin above a desk, next to the monthly one rather than instead of it.

How to actually use a year page

Do not try to write plans in the mini squares, because there is no room and that is not what they are for. Use a highlighter instead, and mark blocks: the holiday weeks, the term dates, the quarter ends. A year page works as a map, and a map with three colours on it tells you more in one second than a list ever will.

Frequently asked questions

What paper size does the full-year calendar print on?

The ready-made PDFs are US Letter size, and because they are vector files they scale cleanly to A4: pick "Fit to page" in your print dialog and nothing is cut off. If you want a true A4 page rather than a scaled one, the Calendar Maker has an A4 option that builds the calendar at A4 dimensions. More detail in the how-to-print guide.

Is the year calendar free to print?

Yes. Every calendar on Pretty Calendars is free for personal and classroom use, and you can print as many copies as you like for yourself, your family, your students or your workplace. There is no sign-up and no watermark. What you may not do is resell the files or republish them on another download site, as our licensing policy explains.

Can I choose the week start?

Yes. The ready-made English PDFs start the week on Sunday, which is the usual convention in the United States. If you want a Monday start, open the Calendar Maker, switch "Week starts on" to Monday, and download your version. The preview updates as soon as you change it, so you can see the grid before you print.

Does it include holidays?

Yes. The ready-made English calendars have United States public holidays already marked on the grid. If you need a different set, the Calendar Maker lets you switch the holidays to Spain, or turn them off completely and leave the grid clean so you can write in your own dates.
