Privacy Policy
We keep this simple. Pretty Calendars does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information to download a calendar. We use basic analytics to understand which calendars are popular, and our host records standard server logs. If you send a message through the contact form, we store it only to reply to you.
Downloading calendars
You can browse every page and download every PDF without giving us your name, your email or anything else.
The Calendar Maker
When you use the Calendar Maker, your browser sends the options you picked to our server: the month, the design, the paper size, the other settings and the title you typed, if any. The server draws the calendar and sends it straight back. A PDF or PNG is written to a temporary file and deleted as soon as it reaches you. Your calendar is not stored in our database, not published and not visible to anyone else, and the title you type does not appear in our server logs.
The contact form
A message sent through the contact form stores the name you enter, your email address if you choose to give one, your message and the time it arrived. Before the form is accepted, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms that a person is sending it, and that check sees your IP address. Messages are never used for marketing, sold or shared.
Server logs and Cloudflare
Our server keeps a log of requests: IP address, time, the address requested, the referring page, the browser and the country. We use it to fix errors and block abuse, and it is deleted after about two weeks. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and stop attacks.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited, from which country and on which kind of device. We do not use it to identify anyone.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own for visitors: there is no login and no cart. Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies, described below. The share buttons are plain links, so Pinterest, Facebook and WhatsApp see nothing until you click one.
Advertising
Pretty Calendars is free because it is paid for by ads. We use Google AdSense, which is what keeps the calendars free for everyone.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and parts of Latin America), a consent banner asks you first, and you can refuse personalised ads. Refusing does not limit anything on this site.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, refuse third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info, or read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Children
Children use many of these calendars, but the site is written for the adult who prints them. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and nothing on the site asks a child for personal details.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will act on it.
