Why three months on one page

A single month is fine for what happens next week, and a full year is fine for booking holidays, but most planning happens in between. A quarter is long enough to see a project from start to finish and short enough that the squares stay big enough to write in. Each sheet here holds three consecutive months, one under the other, with a light box around every day so a pen has somewhere to go.

Quarters at work, at school and at home

Businesses count in quarters because reporting periods run that way: Q1 is January to March, Q2 April to June, Q3 July to September and Q4 October to December. Schools tend to think in terms rather than quarters, but a three month sheet lines up closely with most of them, which is why teachers use these for unit planning. At home the same shape works for a renovation, a training plan or a garden, anything that takes longer than a month and has a finish line.

Public holidays are printed in the accent colour on every sheet, so the days that will disrupt your plan are visible before you write on it. The English sheets mark United States federal holidays and start the week on Sunday, the Spanish sheets mark Spanish national holidays and start on Monday.
