March 2027 has 31 days: 23 working days and 8 days off, counting weekends and public holidays.
- 17 St. Patrick's Day
- 28 Easter
More daylight, a fuller diary
March is when the light comes back and the diary fills up again. In most of the United States the clocks spring forward on the second Sunday, so that weekend is one hour shorter and Monday morning feels early. The spring equinox follows around the 20th. A paper page on the fridge is a good place for these dates, because a phone reminder is easy to swipe away and a circled square is not. Write the time change as a note on the Saturday night square too.
St. Patrick's Day, Easter and spring break
St. Patrick's Day is printed on the 17th of every English design. Easter is the date that moves: it can land as early as March 22 or as late as April 25, and when it falls in March it is marked on this page. Spring break tends to follow the same pattern, since many districts schedule it near Easter, though some fix it to a week in mid-March instead. Write the break in the moment the school confirms it, then plan travel around it. For the full run of dates, see the Easter calendar. St. Patrick's Day parades in many cities are held on the nearest weekend, which may not be the 17th.
What should go on a March calendar first?
Start with whatever is fixed and shared: the clock change, the 17th, spring break and any school closure days. Then add the third-quarter deadlines that end in March for many schools and offices. Weekly lessons and practices go in last, in pencil, because spring sports schedules often change during the first few weeks.
A quarter that ends this month
March closes the first quarter of the year, which makes it a useful checkpoint. Look back at January and February, then sketch April to June on a quarterly calendar so the end of school and early summer plans are visible before they arrive. Spring sports seasons and tax deadlines both pull on the same weeks, so a monthly planner with space for notes can sit next to the grid. Every design here is free for personal and classroom use, so a teacher can print a copy for each table group without a sign-up, and there is no watermark on the page. The Floral and Watercolor designs carry spring colours, while Colorful works well for a class wall. What you may not do is resell the files or post them on another download site.

She plans each month and style, reviews and refines every layout, prints and checks each PDF on both A4 and US-Letter, and reads every message from the contact form. Her rule: if a calendar is not clean, easy to write on, and correct to the last date, it does not get published.
