What is a weekly calendar?

A weekly calendar shows one week on one page. Instead of a small square per day you get a full band across the sheet, wide enough to write a real sentence in. That is the whole point of the format: a month grid is a map of what is coming, and a week sheet is the working surface for the seven days actually in front of you.

Every design on this page stacks the seven days one under the other, with ruled lines inside each band and a notes area at the foot for whatever does not belong to a single day: the shopping list, the calls to return, the one job you want finished before Friday.

Why the weekly planner is undated

A sheet that prints one specific week is dead the following Monday. These print a blank rule after the words "Week of" instead, so you fill in the dates by hand and the same file works in January or in September, this year or next. Print one for tomorrow, or print a stack at the start of a term and keep them in a folder. Nothing expires, and the PDF you save today still prints correctly in two years.

These sheets open on Sunday and close on Saturday, the way a week is normally read in the United States, and the days are printed by name so the order is never ambiguous. Our Spanish sheets are built the other way, opening on Monday, because that is the standard across Spain and Latin America. Nothing else differs between them.

What people actually use a week for

Meal planning is the most common job by far: seven dinners, written where the whole household can see them. After that come class timetables, shift patterns, training plans, medication schedules, cleaning routines and reading logs. A used weekly sheet is also a record. Keep them and you have a written account of a term or a season, which no phone reminder will ever hand back to you.
