What is a monthly calendar?
A monthly calendar shows a single month on one page: a grid of days and weeks with room to write in every cell. It is the format most people print, because one page per month is big enough to plan meals, chores, school and work without feeling cramped.
One page per month, twelve designs
Every month above opens its own page with the same grid drawn in all twelve of our designs, from minimalist and floral to cats, vintage and watercolor. Each one downloads as a vector PDF with the weekday alignment checked and the public holidays marked, so whatever you pick prints crisp on US Letter or A4 at home. The English grids carry the United States public holidays, so September turns up with Labor Day already in place.
Dated, blank or fully custom
If you want a monthly grid without dates, the blank calendar template works for any month and never expires; it makes a great chore chart or meal planner. Frequently asked questions
How do I print one of these monthly calendars?
Open the month you need from the grid above, pick a design and press Download PDF. Print the file at 100 percent, or with scaling set to Fit, on US Letter or A4 paper. Every file is a vector PDF, so it stays sharp at either size. The printing guide walks through the printer settings step by step.
Can I use the monthly calendars in my classroom?
Yes. Personal and classroom use are both free: teachers can print full class sets, hang a month on the wall and send copies home in folders. The only things we ask you not to do are re-uploading the files elsewhere, selling them or claiming them as your own. The short version of the terms lives on our license page.
Do these monthly calendars start the week on Sunday or Monday?
The English calendars start the week on Sunday and mark United States public holidays, the usual wall-calendar layout in the US. The Spanish versions start on Monday with Spain's holidays. If you want the other layout for any month, the free Calendar Maker lets you switch the week start before downloading.
Can I write my own events on them?
That is what the roomy day cells are for: print the month and write appointments, meals or chores straight into the boxes. If you want a heading of your own, the Calendar Maker adds a custom title of up to 40 characters and optional notes lines. Typing events into the cells on screen is not supported yet.
