When is Epiphany?
Epiphany is fixed on January 6, twelve days after Christmas. Twelfth Night is the evening before, January 5, when many parades and family celebrations take place. In 2027 Twelfth Night is a Tuesday and Three Kings Day a Wednesday, so the celebration lands in the middle of the week.
The dates through 2031
The table on this page pairs both evenings for five years. In 2029 Three Kings Day falls on a Saturday and in 2030 on a Sunday, which makes those two years the easiest for families who gather on a weekend. In 2031 it moves to a Monday, with Twelfth Night on the Sunday before. School usually restarts close to these dates, so check the weekday before promising a late night out at the parade. A Wednesday celebration, as in 2027, often means the gifts wait until the evening after work and school.
